ABOUT SWIFTIE HEARDLE

Swiftie Heardle is a music guessing game that challenges you to identify Taylor Swift songs from short audio clips. You have six attempts to find the correct title, starting with just one second of music. The snippet can come from anywhere in the track, so recognizing a familiar intro is only one possible route to the answer. Your knowledge of melodies, vocals, and album styles all comes into play.

FROM ONE SECOND TO THE RIGHT SONG

Listen, Search, and Submit

Press Play to hear the available clip, then type a song title into the search box. Select your choice from the suggestions and press Submit.

An incorrect answer unlocks another second of audio. If you need more information before guessing, select Skip. Both actions use one attempt, with the clip increasing through 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 seconds. Identify the track before your six chances run out.

Read the Color Feedback

Each result gives you feedback about your selection:

  • Green: You found the correct song.
  • Yellow: Your song belongs to the correct album, but the title is wrong.
  • Red: Your guess is incorrect.
  • Gray: You skipped the attempt.

For example, if Blank Space produces a yellow result, the answer is another track from 1989. This clue narrows your search to one album rather than Taylor’s entire catalog.

CHOOSE YOUR SWIFTIE CHALLENGE

Daily and Archive

Daily offers the same song to everyone that day, with a new challenge arriving at midnight in your local time zone. Daily results count toward your streak.

Use Archive to select an earlier puzzle from the calendar. These rounds let you catch up on missed challenges without changing your streak.

Unlimited by Era

Unlimited lets you continue with another song after each round. Choose All eras for a broader challenge, focus on an album such as Fearless or Midnights, or select From The Vault to test your knowledge of those tracks.

Rapid Against the Clock

Rapid challenges you to identify as many consecutive songs as possible. You receive 15 seconds per song, while each wrong answer deducts three seconds. The run ends when time expires. Each song’s countdown begins when its music starts playing.

MAKE EACH AUDIO CLUE COUNT

Listen for distinctive instruments, rhythms, or vocal phrases before choosing a title. These details can suggest an era, although similar sounds may appear across several albums.

When a yellow result appears, concentrate on that album’s tracklist. If you have no strong candidate, skipping can provide a clearer excerpt. Unlimited album playlists also offer a useful way to practice less familiar songs.
