WHAT IS SMARTLE?
Smartle is a word puzzle from Pro Mobile where you rearrange letters on a 5 × 5 grid to create five valid English words. Each word must contain five letters and occupy one horizontal row.
All 25 letters are already on the board. Your task is to find an arrangement that makes every row valid at the same time. A puzzle can have multiple solutions, giving you room to explore different combinations.
HOW TO PLAY SMARTLE
Drag one letter and drop it onto another to swap their positions. You can exchange any two tiles on the grid, including letters in different rows. Use your mouse on a computer or your finger on a touchscreen.
To solve the board:
- Look for a five-letter word you can build using the available letters.
- Swap tiles to arrange that word across a horizontal row.
- Continue until all five rows contain valid words.
A completed row turns green and earns a star. However, its letters remain movable. If you cannot finish the remaining rows, try replacing an earlier word to free up useful letters. Winning requires five valid rows together, rather than five words formed at different points during play.
Before each swap, check how it affects both rows. Pay attention to the remaining vowels and consonants instead of moving letters randomly.
When you need help, select the Advice lightbulb. It can build a word for you and may rearrange completed rows. Solving faster, making fewer swaps, and using fewer hints help improve your score.

Daily Word Puzzle
Daily Word Puzzle gives you a new board each day. Work at your own pace, test possible words, and reconsider arrangements when the remaining letters become difficult to use.
Sprint
Sprint challenges you to solve five puzzles within a total of 10 minutes. The same swapping rules apply, but you need to recognize words and make decisions more quickly.
You can take breaks between puzzles without using the remaining time. Sprint can also be played repeatedly, with fresh puzzles for each new run.
