Twordsy

Twordsy gives you two five-letter words to uncover instead of one. The answers are connected by meaning, category, or association. For example, MUSIC and DANCE could form a pair: both are five-letter words, and people often dance to music.

That connection changes how you solve the puzzle. Finding letters on one board brings you closer to its answer; figuring out that answer can then help you think of possibilities for the other word.

HOW TO PLAY TWORDSY

Type a five-letter word and press Enter to make your first guess.
Read the colored tiles, then enter a guess for the word on the other board.
Continue alternating between the two boards. You have five guesses per word.
Use both the letter clues and the connection between the answers to find the pair.

Read the Colors and Letter Bubbles

Green: The letter is in the correct position.
Orange: The letter is in the word but belongs in a different position.

The letter bubbles above each board help you track letters you have tried and letters you have uncovered. Check them as you move between boards so you do not overlook a useful clue.

USE THE CONNECTION TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

A nearly solved word can be your best hint for the other board. Once you have a likely answer, think about words in the same category, words with a similar meaning, or things commonly associated with it. Then compare those ideas with the letters you have found.

Early guesses with different common letters can reveal more about each answer. As your options narrow, focus on words that fit both the tile colors and the relationship between the pair.

MORE WAYS TO PLAY

Twordsy offers a daily puzzle and a Practice mode for playing additional pairs. If you need help, you can turn on clue mode in Settings. The game also tracks statistics such as completed games and your streak.
