Wordlerry

You have six tries to find a five-letter word. The twist in Wordlerry is that the answer relates to Harry Styles. Each guess reveals letter clues, while the theme gives you another way to narrow down the possibilities.

TWO CLUES TO SOLVE ONE WORD

Wordlerry follows the familiar Wordle format, but knowing the theme changes how you think through a puzzle. A word might fit the letters you have found; you can then ask whether it also has a plausible connection to Harry Styles.

That connection is most useful when several words still seem possible. First, use the colored tiles to work out which letters and positions fit. Then let the theme guide your choice for the next guess. You may recognize a reference quickly, or you may only see the connection once the word is complete.

HOW A ROUND WORKS

Enter a five-letter word using your keyboard or the keys on the screen. Use Delete to correct it before pressing Enter. After you submit a guess, the tiles change color:

  • Green: The letter is in the answer and in the correct position.
  • Yellow: The letter is in the answer but belongs in another position.
  • Gray: The letter is not in the answer.

You have up to six guesses. Each row gives you more information to use in the next one.

Make Each Guess Count

Keep green letters where they are and test new positions for yellow ones. When a guess leaves you with several possible words, look for one that fits both the tile colors and the Harry Styles theme.

If the connection does not come to mind immediately, focus on the letters you can confirm. A few well-placed clues can make the themed answer easier to spot.

WHO WILL ENJOY WORDLERRY?

Harry Styles fans may enjoy recognizing a connection as the letters fall into place. If you are less familiar with his music, you can still work through the puzzle using the colored tiles. The theme gives fans an extra clue, but the letter feedback gives everyone a way to make progress.
