ABOUT WORDLEBUDDY

A few green and yellow tiles can leave you with more possibilities than you expected. WordleBuddy helps you sort through them. Enter the guesses and color clues from a Wordle puzzle, and the tool finds five-letter words that could still fit.

WordleBuddy is a companion to your puzzle, rather than a separate guessing game. It does not choose your next word for you. Instead, it gives you options to consider when you are unsure where to go next.

HOW TO USE

1. Enter a guess. Type a five-letter word into the grid using your keyboard. You can also tap the squares to add letters or open the virtual keyboard.
2. Match the tile colors. Tap each square to cycle through the colors until it matches the result from your Wordle game.
3. Add more guesses if needed. Enter the words you have already tried so WordleBuddy can work with all your clues.
4. Select Find Words. Review the words that match the letters and colors you entered.

What Do the Colors Mean?

• Green: The letter is in the correct position.
• Yellow: The letter is in the word but belongs in another position.
• Gray: The letter was marked as absent in that guess.

Use Clear when you want to empty the grid and start with a different puzzle.

HOW TO USE THE SUGGESTIONS

The results are possible matches based on the clues you provide. If the list looks wrong, check that every letter and tile color matches your original game. Even one incorrectly marked square can change the suggestions.

When several words remain, compare their letters before making your next guess. You may prefer a word that tests letters you have not tried, or one that could be the answer. Find Words helps narrow the list, but the final choice is yours.
